This Man Stayed In Fukushima To Feed The Animals Everyone Else Left Behind

When the 2011 tsunami crippled Fukushima's nuclear power plant thousands of people fled for their lives, leaving almost everything behind--including their animals. Four years later, Naoto Matsumura, a 55-year-old farmer, is the one--the ONLY one--who returned to care for them.

Known as "the last man from Fukushima," Matsumura is the only person still living in the exclusion zone around the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant.
