Why Scott Walker is a serious contender for president PERFECTLY illustrated in one cartoon

Some on the left claim that Scott Walker’s lack of a college degree is somehow disqualifies him for a run for President. Charles Krauthammer responds and claims that there is no story here and the left is frightened of Scott Walker so they’re trying to make stuff up.

BRET BAIER: Let me ask you about the front page of the The Washington Post about education and the mystery behind Scott Walker leaving college, questions linger. That’s how it’s phrased. We had a long interview and we have a clip that will run on my blog, The Daily Bret, where he goes into what happened. He went and got a job.

CHARLES KRAUTHAMMER: I don’t understand the story. Where is the story here? Student who bored with his studies with a year to go in credits, in his senior year, is offered a good job and leaves. That’s a story? That’s a dog bites man story. I mean, in fact, Bill Gates in 2007 received an honorary degree because he never got his degree. The idea that there were questions raised is baffling. I think this is a guy who has been vetted and people are searching for dirt. It’s hard to find.

Has he considered buying a degree from and unknown "university", like Tom Tillis?

  4. Scott Walker has undying hatred for working people and organized labor, he'd be an awesome GOP contender, but there are so many anti-worker, anti-poor candidates already. He should just kill himself and save us the time fighting his next monstrous "idea" from the Cock Bros.

  5. When I was young, most after graduation from high school, did not attend college. Seems now days that so called higher eduction is almost a must to be anything, or anybody worthy of a breath. Now what I keep asking myself in my old age as I look around this nation, is our we better off with all this so called higher education? I don't see it, as a matter of fact I find it to be just another way to divide and conquer the people. If this higher education thing is so great why is it most of us old timers and allot of the younger people think we are much the worse then before. Its a scam. I bet I could take the best heart surgeon in the world, or the best at anything, give them an apprentice to teach them their trade and or skill and turn out some really good replacements for these guys when they retire, and no college necessary as it would be done like things use to be done with a journey man teaching an apprentice a trade or craft. Sure would cost allot less, take less time and produce better results. But don't mind me just a stupid old man.

  6. Interesting, so "orraz" at Whatreallyhappened.com thinks *this* is a "Perfect" example of why that lowlife Walker should be president?

Funny: I don't see Walker jamming a stake up the rearends of the Banksters that took "bailouts" from those hard-working Middle Class, THEN paid themselves "bonuses" for being FAILURES.

Screw orraz, and screw the Kochsucker Walker.

  7. I call people who demand a college degree before granting respect or equate a degree with intelligence "credentialists". As a person with his foot in both worlds (working class career, years of college, and no degree) I often find credentialed people to be less well informed than a person of average intelligence who maintains a life-long active curiosity. The problem is often the degree itself: in "arriving" at a particular career track upon graduation, they think they know all they need to know, are sick of studying, and so never voluntarily crack a book again. The tragedy is they miss the fun and fascination of a life filled with learning. There is no university in the world that teaches what I know after a half century of constant reading.

Scott Walker may or may not be fit for office, but it has nothing to do with any degree. It hinges on whether he has an open mind and strives to learn as much as he can about this world we live in. I wouldn't bet on either of those being true of him.

  8. Bill Gates was born into a wealthy family. His mother was friends with the Chairman of IBM. He never met a NSA/CIA backdoor that he turned down. That pretty much explains how Microsoft got where it is.

We keep hearing about how bright he is and how hard he works, but he dropped out of college and didn't do any programming after the Altair 64. So maybe it's an insult to Scott Walker to be compared to Bill Gates.

  10. If he gets elected then we know he isn't something we want in there. The only way to get elected president is to do what hurts the people and not what helps them.

  11. How will he be able to overcome the massive voter fraud set for 2016. He'll be up against the GOP and the Demonicrats.

  12. Please...Jerry Brown out here in California is doing the exact same things Walker is doing and no one complains. Democrats only get "outraged" when it benefits them in the polls. Your temper tantrums don't fool anyone anymore.

  13. Charles Krauthamer knows full well how to not look for information when he doesn't want to find it.

  14. The reason he is a serious contender is because he is part of the Bush family. As in George WALKER Bush. If Jeb really wants it, Scott might have to wait it out. I'm thinking a Bush/Walker ticket in 2016.

  15. When I was working, I was always told that because I did not have a degree, I would get no where in the federal government. BUT the people with the degrees in liberal arts, basket weaving, all got the top paying jobs. Most of them could not balance their check book but they got the big bucks. BTW, they Fuck up a lot but no one cared or did anything about it.
